What is CWI?

A private investment community in Dubai. Members invest together in real businesses, without having to run them.

How do I make money?

The business earns a profit. You get your share, paid on the schedule written in your agreement.

What could I earn?

Target returns range from 18% to 72% a year, depending on the portfolio. They are targets, not promises, and can be lower.

What's the risk?

Like any investment, its value may go down, and funds usually stay committed until the agreed period ends.

How do I start?

2How it works

Where your money goes, in four steps.

This is called . You and other members fund a business together and share what it earns.

1. You invest

You choose a portfolio, an amount and a , and sign the agreement.

2. Money is put to work

CWI uses it to buy assets or fund a business, for example containers that are rented out.

3. The business earns

Rent, sales or service fees come in. Costs are paid first.

4. You get your share

Your share of the profit is paid as a . Every 3 months you get a full statement.

Example

With container rental, your money buys shipping containers. A shipping company rents them, like renting an apartment. The rent, minus maintenance and fees, is shared with you. If containers sit empty, there is less rent to share.

Risk levels are CWI's own rating and compare the portfolios with each other. Capital security (a guarantee cheque, debt certificate or the assets themselves) applies only as written in the signed agreement for your investment.

About target returns, in plain words. Returns shown are targets, not promises. They can go up or down, and you could lose money. "Up to" and "proposed" figures are set in your agreement. Only your signed agreement applies.

4Risks

What can go wrong, and how we manage it.

This is not a bank deposit. Please read this part before you decide.

Value can go down

A business may face difficult periods, which can reduce the value of the investment and its payouts.

What we do: check every business first, spread money across sectors and monitor it.

Payouts can change

If the business earns less, you receive less. Payouts can also be delayed.

What we do: show real results every 3 months, so nothing is hidden.

Your money is locked in

You usually can't take your money out before the agreed period ends.

What we do: write the exit terms into your agreement before you sign.

Markets go up and down

Trade, travel, property, shopping and tech spending all have good and bad years.

What we do: offer five portfolios in sectors that don't all move together.

Partners may not pay

A renter, customer or partner company might not pay what it owes.

What we do: check partners and use contracts that protect you.

Rules and currencies change

New laws or exchange rates can affect your return, especially outside the UAE.

What we do: encourage you to get independent tax and legal advice.

This may suit you if

  • You have AED 100,000 or more you won't need for at least a year.
  • You want real businesses alongside property or shares.
  • You accept that returns go up and down and money is at risk.
  • You want everything in writing, with regular reports.

This is probably not for you if

  • This is your emergency money or you need it within a year.
  • You need your capital to be guaranteed.
  • You're looking for quick profits.
  • You would borrow money to invest.

Our Investor Assistant answers your questions instantly, in English, Arabic, Hindi and Malayalam, and arranges a private consultation with a Relationship Manager at our office, by video or by phone.

Simple answers to common questions.

Can't find yours? Ask our Investor Assistant for an instant answer.

Is my return guaranteed?

No. Each portfolio has a target return, from 18% to 72% a year: AI trading up to 30% (proposed), logistics 36–72%, global diversified 24–28%, real estate 18–22% and FMCG 20% (proposed). These are targets, not promises. Your real return may be lower, and like any investment, its value can go down.

Is my capital protected?

It depends on the portfolio. AI trading, global diversified and FMCG are secured by a guarantee cheque or debt certificate (Capital security). Logistics rentals and real estate are backed by the assets themselves: containers in your name or property (Wealth generation). This applies only where it is written in the agreement issued for your investment, and capital is not guaranteed unless that agreement says so. Your advisor will show you the exact security before you sign.

What is the minimum I can invest?

It depends on the portfolio: AED 100,000 for AI trading and logistics, AED 300,000 for FMCG, AED 500,000 for global diversified and AED 3 million for real estate. Your Relationship Manager will also check that the amount makes sense compared with your total savings.

Can I take my money out early?

The minimum is 12 months, and most terms run 2 to 7 years depending on the portfolio. AI trading lets you leave any time with 3 months' notice. Any early-exit rules are written in your agreement before you sign, so only invest money you won't need during that time.

How and when do I get paid?

Payouts are made monthly, quarterly or yearly, as written in your agreement, to your bank account. You also get a full statement every 3 months.

I don't live in the UAE. Can I invest?

Often yes. Many of our investors live abroad. It depends on your country's rules, and you should check tax in your home country. Your advisor will confirm.

Can I meet you before investing?

Yes, and we recommend it. Visit our Business Bay office by appointment, or meet us on a video call.
